The Capacity Management team within the SCM organization here at Stellantis help us to optimize vehicle production to meet the demands of our customers. The Capacity Analyst role ensures proper supplier/program capacity is in place in advance of program changes resulting from demand driven changes (sales and marketing) and/or product plan changes. The Capacity Analyst works in partnership with production planning and other Stellantis SCM groups to ensure the program is buildable.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Capacity Analyst are:



  • Work with the supply base and Stellantis purchasing to remove barriers that are constraining or will constrain the program
  • Evaluate feasibility and supplier capacity to implement mix change proposal
  • Monitor and manage program constraints in the order slotting and sequencing system (OSS)
  • Synchronize with the production planning and centralized scheduling in the weekly slotting and sequencing process
  • Maintain capacity cards for assigned program(s)
  • Define all program constraints and plant restrictions
  • Critical/constrained component management
  • Manage capacity sheets and risk assessment(s)
  • Set up weekly meetings for short term supply issues and maintain agenda
  • Establish banking programs as required
  • Review Green Requisition requests and issue Green Requisitions (as justified)
  • Resolve nearer term volume variances
  • Collaborate with Component Supply Risk Mitigation (CSRM) in the disposition of longer-term volume variances in the Stellantis capacity database
  • Conduct supplier conference calls
  • Create / document processes, learning documents, job aids for platform constraint operational core competencies
  • Release analyses
  • Release compares (diamond reports)
  • Development and management of strategic material buffers for programs
  • Maintain familiarity with assembly plant calendars: understand calendar, plant operating patterns and capacities/restrictions

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field OR 2 of years relevant work experience
  • Strong interest in automotive industry
  • Strong written and oral communication skill
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Computer proficient (including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and database applications)
