The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $93,642-$121,550 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications:Guide project testing. Collaborate with the testing engineers and development teams to create a project test plan. Coordinate and maintain the project system releases and compatibility matrix across releases. Ensure appropriate testing resources are assigned to the project. Provide progression and final reporting on all testing to the project team. Lead all testing within project team. Support other testing engineers on the team. Refine project requirements, design and implement solutions, and test systems. Collaborate with mechatronics, safety, production, testing, and customer service colleagues globally. Mentor junior Project Leads. Own the full company compatibility matrix, the standardization of project lead-based templates, and the testing technical expertise of the 1195 vehicle. Support other vehicle projects like the FMX, VNA, and 1171 when required. Build full solution testing both in E'tricc and Fleet based solutions. Fully commission a vehicle project from a testing perspective. Build automated testing and test procedures at both the vehicle (CAN, Simulink) level, and the solution (simulation, SIL) level. Read and understand schematics. Create test harnesses (automation hands-on electrical experience). Ensure completion of all required project documentation. Test Li-ION battery CAN communication. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Validation Engineer, Testing Lead, Automation Product Lead, or closely related occupation. Also requires 2 years of experience with Li-ION battery CAN communication testing; AutoCAD with Etricc/ATOM simulation; creating test harnesses; ASPICE style testing processes; SAFE-Agile development; and working with complex systems architecture or SysML; and one year of experience with 1195 vehicle and Stage-gate process development. Also requires completion of ISTQB training and SolidWorks associate certification. Up to 15% domestic and international travel is required to various unanticipated locations. Located at Dematic Corp. in Holland, MI. Telecommuting permitted 2 days/week. Full-time position. |
