This position, under the system Employee Experience (EX) team within the HR Division, is responsible for coordinating regional employee experience efforts that align with system strategy. It supports ongoing leadership efforts to strengthen workplace culture, engagement, and retention by ensuring that best practices in employee experience are effectively integrated across the region. This position engages in continuous, systematic, and data-informed employee engagement and retention efforts to enhance workplace satisfaction, connection, and well-being. Develops and facilitates engagement initiatives, team member listening forums, and leadership feedback sessions to ensure employees feel seen, heard, and valued. Additionally, this position supports leaders and teams by guiding best practices in engagement, feedback loops, and recognition to create a more connected and supportive work environment.

Education

Required - Bachelor's degree in human resources management, organizational psychology, business, or related field.

Preferred - Master's degree

Work Experience

Required - Five (5) years of professional experience, preferably within employee experience, engagement, leadership development, or change management in a healthcare setting.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Ability to influence, advise, and collaborate with leadership to enhance employee experience and engagement.
  • Expertise in employee engagement, retention, experience, and workplace culture best practices.
  • Proven ability to analyze employee experience data, identify trends, and support leaders in making improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of leader development, coaching, and embedding engagement strategies into daily practices and processes.
  • Experience partnering with HR and leadership to ensure system-wide EX priorities are successfully adopted at the local level.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and guide leaders toward meaningful actions.
  • Effective communication, consulting, and facilitation skills, with a collaborative, partnership-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and workforce analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel between regions and facilities.

Job Duties

  • Advises on and supports regional practices and processes that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention, ensuring alignment with system-wide goals.
  • Collaborates with the Employee Experience (EX) team and internal partners, including but not limited to HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent & Learning, Professional Staff Services (PSS), and Patient Experience, to share and implement best practices for improving workplace culture and team member satisfaction.
  • Develops and facilitates regional engagement initiatives, such as employee listening forums, leadership feedback sessions, and structured recognition efforts that strengthen workplace experience.
  • Supports the implementation of regional action plans, using insights from employee, APP & physician engagement surveys, workforce trends, and frontline feedback to enhance team member connection, well-being, and retention.
  • Reviews and shares regional employee experience data, including engagement metrics, turnover trends, and real-time feedback, equipping leaders with the insights needed to make meaningful improvements.
  • Fosters a culture of engagement and support by partnering with regional executive leadership teams, department leaders, managers, and supervisors to enhance team member experience through communication, recognition, and leadership practices.
  • Guides the development and facilitation of educational opportunities that equip leaders and teams with the skills to create a high-engagement, high-performance work environment.
  • Performs other related duties as needed to support continuous improvement in employee experience at the regional level.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
