Job Summary: As the Manager of IT Clinical Training and Support at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for managing a team of trainers focused on delivering effective software training programs that promote technology adoption, improve workflows, and drive engagement among end-users. This individual will ensure training programs align with organizational goals and emphasize usability and efficiency, while providing hands-on leadership to a team of trainers. The Manager will lead a team of trainers, collaborate with various departments, and utilize best practices in instructional design to deliver effective training solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms. The Manager will prioritize team development, ensure consistent training delivery, and support measurable outcomes that enhance end-user satisfaction and competency. Ensuring trainers are equipped to meet training objectives, and maintaining a strong connection with end-users to deliver training that meets their needs. What you will do: Training Program Development and Delivery
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy focused on organizational change management, usability, and efficiency for onboarding, competency development, and ongoing education.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant training content and materials.
- Oversee the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring high-quality instruction and engagement using various training methods, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms, to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Implement innovative training solutions and methodologies to enhance the learning experience.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Needs Assessment
- Round and hold active listening sessions with clinical end users
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders, and end-users to identify training gaps, optimize workflows, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Work closely with IT leadership to align training initiatives with organizational goals and technology strategies.
- Build a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and innovation across the training team and broader organization.
Reporting and Evaluation
- Prepare and present reports on training program effectiveness, participation rates, and clinical end-user performance improvements. Analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the success of training programs, including adoption rates, usability scores, and user satisfaction. Communicate training objectives and outcomes to stakeholders effectively.
- Monitor and report on organizational goals such as improved EHR usability and satisfaction leveraging Signal Data.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing outcomes and adjusting training strategies based on feedback and data.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of IT trainers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative training environment that encourages continuous improvement.
- Align the training teams to a consistent model of work, ensuring all teams perform onboarding, training guide development, and purposeful rounding.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Education, Human Resources or related field (required). Clinical Degree preferred in addition.
- Experience: Five (5) years experience in training, instructional design, or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in managing processes, applications, or systems in a healthcare setting or relevant related industries.
- Two (2) or more years of leadership experience as defined as essential to the role.
- Unique or Preferred Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of clinical terminology and hospital or medical group office operations.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills are essential.
- Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with efficiency.
- Strong domain knowledge.
- Personal and ethical accountability.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking for problem solving / issue resolution.
- A lean towards curiosity, out of the box thinking and innovative.
