POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director or a staff physician, the clinician evaluates, diagnoses, and recommends treatment for individuals with mental health conditions. This role involves providing independent psychotherapy to patients in both individual and group settings while overseeing patient care and treatment. Additionally, the clinician provides administrative support and clinical supervision to lower-level staff.



QUALIFICATIONS

Education


  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, mental health, or a related discipline required.
  • Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in a related discipline preferred.



Knowledge & Experience


  • Strong understanding of general policies and procedures related to mental health care.
  • Expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric patients, obtained through formal education and a minimum of six months to one year of psychiatric therapy experience in a clinical setting.



Skills


  • High level of analytical ability to assess patient needs, interpret data, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Ability to monitor ongoing treatment progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare and mental health professionals.
  • Direct patient care is required for a percentage of work time as established by the program.



Licensure & Certification

Must hold a valid professional license in accordance with the discipline, including but not limited to:




  • Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Masters Social Worker- (LMSW)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGBC)
  • Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC)
  • Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT)
  • Nurse Psychotherapist (APRN/PMH)


Salary Range: Minimum $34.11/hour - Maximum $56.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
