JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide electrical technical assistance to all divisions within Power Systems and outside customers
- Design, specify parts and project manage specialized projects for service
- Facilitate in-house training for service technicians.
- Use sources to resolve service issues and obtain data for all departments.
- Manage small electrical projects for Service Department.
- Train/mentor technicians on technical procedures.
- Maintain updated library of pertinent software and documents (CAT and other).
- Write up quick guides for specialized equipment.
- Maintain list of technician electrical safety equipment.
- Assist Engineering with general electrical and startup tasks
- Maintain Foley electrical equipment with yearly calibrations, software upgrades and cable/battery replacement as necessary.
- Assist with Sales customer meetings and quotes by reading/interpreting drawings & specs, making equipment/design recommendations, gathering necessary technical data and providing technical explanations to customer's questions.
- Assist customers by taking customer call to determine if service is needed, supporting issues by phone, supplying necessary documents and attending sites for unique issues.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Electrical Engineer degree
- Minimum 5 years technical experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Certified on power quality meter and Infrared camera
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of PLC controls, Electrical/Electronic circuits.
