The Opportunity with McKinstry We are excited to offer summer internships for 2025 across several of our different office locations and are currently seeking an Energy Master Planning Intern to join our Engineering and Design team in Denver, CO. The summer of 2025 presents a unique opportunity as McKinstry is working with Colorado College to develop an Energy Master Plan. The result of this project will be an implementable plan to guide Colorado College on their long-term journey to remove fossil fuels from campus. Aspects of this plan potentially include ground-source/geothermal for campus heating, renewables, electric vehicle charging, and energy efficiency, amongst others. This internship would allow you to be directly involved in the development of the EMP, giving you a real-world opportunity to put your education to use on your own campus. Our B.L.U.E. (Build, Learn, Understand, Enrich) Summer Internship Program is purposefully designed to inspire your imagination and help you guide your career with purpose. You'll be an integral part of McKinstry with hands-on experience, mentorship and a healthy dose of fun.
