Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus. SUMMARY Under the general direction of the Audit Manager, the staff auditor is responsible for performing internal audits over financial, operational, and compliance audit areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance from a four-year college or university required; 1 - 2 years' experience in a top 10 accounting firm, or equivalent combination of education/experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions independently. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA) must be obtained 12 months after hire date. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
