Position Summary |
Instructor will teach up to three sections of French language per semester. Appointments are on a course by course basis, subject to need. Course are classroom-based; no online sections. |

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position |
Candidates must be able to work with a comprehensive
LMS (Canvas), as well as with major publishers' online course management systems. Preference given to those who are familiar with and have materials for a current college-level French textbook. |
Minimum Qualifications |
Minimum qualifications for teaching in the academic programs are a master's degree in the teaching field (French Language or Literature), or a master's degree in a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching field (ie. courses with
FREN (or similar) prefixes. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Experience teaching young adults from a current college-level textbook. |
