Senior Manager of Managed Care and Clinical Services

• Education & Community Trainings - We help students achieve academic success while giving educators the tools to create safe learning environments to improve their students' behaviors and offer innovative learning opportunities to build and improve knowledge in the community.

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Managed Care and Clinical Services to join our team. Your role will work in a highly collaborative environment to ensure the delivery of high quality, integrated health services across Kansas Foster Care. You will be a primary point of contact for children with the most significant medical and mental health needs, collaborating with the Clinical Utilization Team openly and in a trauma-informed manner to assist the case team and all support teams in addressing those needs.

As a member of the Administration - Kansas Foster Care, you will work with other team members and report to our Deputy Director of Kansas Permanency Services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and implement healthcare coordination services to meet the greatest needs/most at- risk clients in the Kansas Foster Care programs, aligned with available resources and organizational priorities
• Lead efforts to ensure maximum utilization of Kansas' HCBS waivers for qualifying children in foster care
• In collaboration with the Clinical Utilization team, understands services covered by Medicaid and the Waiver programs offered in Kansas
• Supervises the Cornerstones of Care Nurse Case Manager as it relates to establishing necessary medical services including HCBS waiver services and services offered by the Managed Care Organizations

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience of direct practice with children, youth, and/or families. Licensed provider in Kansas is preferred.

• Master's degree in social work or a healthcare related field.
• At least 21 years of age and pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation

Starting Salary: $ 57, 000- $ 67,000 (Annually)
