The Team We represent Hitachi Vantara to our customers and partners in the Americas, establishing business and marketing relationships to understand customer challenges and deliver an outstanding experience to both our customers and partners. What you'll be doing We are seeking a passionate and proven Sr. Manager, Global Alliance Marketing to manage a small team of Alliance Marketing Managers and support our business across our 3 geographies, Americas, EMEA and APAC. This person will work closely with their peers within our Alliance partners and collaborate on marketing strategies, campaigns and events that support our joint business goals and drive revenue growth for our solutions. This person will lead a team that collaborates with our Global Alliance Managers, product marketing, field marketing and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute co-marketing initiatives across the globe including events, campaigns and other marketing activities. Business alignment with our Alliances, sales and marketing leadership is a critical component of this role, and the ideal candidate is a strong leader and collaborator who can work with key stakeholders internally and within the Alliances to drive a holistic marketing plan and achieve business results. The primary objective of this role is driving high impact co-marketing activities that extend the reach of our brand and offerings to customers as well as new audiences and markets. Our Alliance ecosystem enables us to bring end-to-end solutions to our customers and it is critical that this person understand the technology and outcomes of our joint solutions so that they can drive high value marketing activities that showcase our differentiation and uniqueness with these partners. Key Alliances supported by this role include AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Nvidia and Cisco. This position is part of the Americas Field & Global Partner Marketing team and reports to the Sr. Director, Field and Partner Marketing. It sits within the company's Global Marketing organization. This position is based in the United States. Responsibilities * Develop a global marketing strategy with our Alliance partners that aligns with overall business objectives and supports our sales and marketing KPIs. * Manage a small team of Alliance marketing managers and guide the planning and execution of global campaigns and events that reach our target audiences including sales teams, channel partners and customers. * Partner closely with Alliance marketing peers to define focus areas and develop content messaging and strategies that can be executed in the regions by field marketing managers and local sales teams. * Collaborate and plan with demand generation, product marketing, social media, partner marketing and other functions to ensure our solutions and strengths with Alliance partners are maximized in our activities. * Manage marketing budgets including MDF and track spend on programs and campaigns. Make recommendations on how to invest and optimize marketing spend and ROI. * Support and PR, social media and other initiatives that promote our joint brands and drive awareness for our partnerships. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support large industry events where our Alliances are core part of the strategy, defining activities that maximize these relationships. * Provide regular updates to marketing and sales leadership on the status of marketing programs, how we are contributing to pipeline and helping meet our objectives. What you bring to the team? * Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent work experience. * Minimum of 10 years of experience in Alliance and partner marketing including MDF management. * Experience working with hyperscalers and major brands from a marketing perspective. * Experience in large, global B2B technology, software and/or services companies. * Strong understanding of the sales pipeline and how to collaborate with the sales to track, manage and advance leads and opportunities from marketing campaigns. * Results driven and customer focused team player that understand how to be successful in B2B field marketing and demand generation functions. * Desire to collaborate and build consensus in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. * 20% travel expected.
