Summary:

The Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for positioning and promoting digital solutions and Triose to bring new offerings to market and position current offerings. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with business partners, including planning, implementation, and communication of marketing initiatives that align with the annual goals and long-term strategies of Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions. The Manager will leverage customer insights, market trends, and strategic messaging to develop strategic messaging platforms and launch materials in alignment with new and existing services/products that drive business growth.

Operating within a collaborative environment, the Manager engages with cross-functional teams and resources to effectively position and market solutions to healthcare customers and stakeholders. The role ensures that all marketing programs and communications align with the business unit's objectives and Cencora's brand identity. The Manager, Product Marketing works under the direct supervision of the Director, Health Systems & Government Services Marketing and collaborates with the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions management team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors

  • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to inform product positioning and strategy

  • Develop and execute marketing launch plans for new products, solutions and features, including personas, value proposition, needs-based segmentation, sales enablement assets (e.g., pitch deck, case studies), marketing mix, and competitive analysis

  • Build go-to-market plans and execute them effectively

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution of marketing initiatives

  • Partner closely with the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions teams to align marketing programs with pipeline objectives

  • Work with the digital marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that promote solutions

  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data and insights

  • Develop high-quality content such as case studies, white papers, and thought leadership articles

  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to develop channel strategies for promoting content and thought leadership initiatives

  • Identify and pursue speaking and thought leadership opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and influence in the industry

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to position company leaders as industry experts

  • Work closely with product development, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure product success

  • Facilitate communication between teams to align on product updates, features, and customer feedback

  • Prepare and deliver value proposition training and marketing presentations that support capabilities deck development

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities for product improvement

  • Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and focus groups to inform development

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and performance data to inform product enhancements

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product performance, customer satisfaction, and market share

  • Assist in the development and execution of specific projects and tactical plans to support pricing and product positioning strategies to optimize revenue, market share and profitability

  • Manage marketing of advisory board

  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate product performance and strategic recommendations

  • Manage the budget for product marketing initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and support communication and training initiatives to facilitate new business development

  • Present marketing initiatives to internal stakeholders and attend industry-specific conferences as needed to inform and support marketing strategies

  • Demonstrate financial acumen and logical decision-making related to pricing, deal structure, and financial implications

  • Develop presentations related to key initiatives for internal and external meetings and conferences

  • Candidates must have experience in product, service, or solution marketing-developing value proposition and product positioning, developing and executing strategic and tactical plans, launching new products and services within a competitive market, and creating content that demonstrates the product or service's value

  • The position requires a four-year bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, product management, business development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly related and progressively responsible marketing experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of product marketing best practices, including brand and product positioning and strategic messaging, and an eye for digital design to develop sales materials and written content to effectively launch and support products

  • Highly creative and innovative with experience writing for business-to-business audience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Perform related duties as assigned

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to manage and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously and on time

  • Customer service-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Recent work experience in the pharmaceutical, software, consulting services, or healthcare industry is a plus

  • Must be detail-oriented

  • Strong analytical skills

  • 10-15% travel required

    *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
