JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products.
* Responsible for a wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.
* Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process.
* Technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
* Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
* Experience with C++
* Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
* Experience developing software for Linux systems.
* Experience with containers and containerized software (e.g., Docker)
* Exposure to model-based engineering and MBSE tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and Bash
* Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
* Experience with complicated technical communication such as file transport over a serial port
* Experience with Vehicle Software, Emission planning, and developing maintenance equipment
* Experience with Windows XP platform is a bonus
* Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, bitbucket, bamboo etc..
* Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral
* Experienced with data structures
* Experience working with the Data Distribution Service (DDS)
* Experience with C/C++ Build Systems (e.g., CMake)
* Experience developing software for embedded platforms ( ideally embedded Linux)
