Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to support the design and development of cloud-based SIGINT microservices. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the operational mission for our Intelligence Community customer while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.

As part of our innovative team, you will work with advanced development tools, collaborate with top-tier engineers, and play a key role in enhancing the security and effectiveness of national intelligence efforts. Key Responsibilities:

    Design, Develop, Deploy: Support the development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based software components for high-availability, resilient applications.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with end-user Analysts, Systems Engineers, and fellow Software Engineers to plan, design, and develop complex electronic data processing systems that deliver value to the Intelligence Community.
  • Agile Development: Implement software solutions using a fast-paced Agile methodology, continuously iterating and enhancing capabilities.
  • Advanced Tech Stack: Work with modern frameworks and tools, including Java, Spring Boot/Spring Framework, Angular/Typescript, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.
  • Continuous Integration & Delivery: Leverage CI/CD tools (i.e. GitLab, GitLab Pipelines) to continuously build, test, and integrate software with efficiency and precision.
  • Customer Engagement: Interface regularly with project managers and customers, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA, 0 years with PhD.
  • Additional 4 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance (active/current).
  • Back-end development experience with Java (Spring/Spring Boot Framework)
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies:
    • HTML,
    • CSS,
    • JavaScript (frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.js)
  • Hands-on experience with databases; MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar.
  • GitLab (Pipelines, Automated CI/CD, SonarQube, SAST, Code Scanning, NexusIQ, Dependency Scanning)
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerized systems
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Experience in user interface design principles and practices.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Security+ Certification
  • Kubernetes (RKE/RKE2), Docker, Helm
  • Messaging Platforms (RabbitMQ or similar)
  • PKI Authentication/Certificates, Keycloak, OIDC
  • Observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Alert Managers)
  • Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence), Cucumber/Selenium
  • Java 17, JUnit 5, Mockito.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
