Description:

The main function of San Diego Lab IT is to handle overall IT-related (including networking) work at San Diego Lab. Primary responsibilities include maintenance and management of IT and resolving employees IT issues. Another main role is supporting all IT-related tasks for VIPs and visitors. While supporting onsite staff in the San Diego office, employee will also be responsible for MNOs Lab departments IT maintenance as a whole (currently 5 locations). Assist in assets maintenance, keep track of status/updates, support in procurement, resolve vulnerability issues, etc. Additionally, must be able to create informative, detailed, and accurate reports using Microsoft Office when HQ/upper management requests data.

Responsibilities:

* Assist department employees with PC hardware/software issues (Repair, Replacements, Upgrades)
* Assist HQ VIP/visitor with PC hardware/software issues (Repair, Replacements, Upgrades)
* Network Support Management.
* Linux-based server management/troubleshooting
* PC asset management/documentation
* PC/System Vulnerability check / report / resolve
* Summary & report creation/maintenance including but not limited to AMRS, IRP, HQ, MNO
* Printer troubleshooting and support

Other requirements:

* Extensive Windows OS knowledge
* Experience with Linux OS (ubuntu preferred)
* Ability to assemble, maintain, and perform minor repairs on computer equipment and peripherals
* Basic ability and knowledge for troubleshooting network issues.
* Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time
* Basic knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering required (computer science and engineering)
* 2~3 years of experience required
