What you will do:

Under the general direction of the Senior Finance Manager of Financial Operations - Corporate, and working closely with the Lead Financial Analysts and Finance Business Partners, our Financial Analyst is responsible for analysis, financial planning, and customer service job duties related to the Corporate Finance activities.

Must be able to effectively and professionally work with stakeholders at all levels of organization. The primary duties of this role will be to support the financial and analytical processes for Corporate departments at Johnson Controls.

How you will do it:

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of the annual operating budgets and capital budgets for Corporate departments

  • Assist with the monthly outlook process for Corporate departments

  • Analysis of monthly financial results to determine trends

  • Partner with cost center owners to ensure adherence to plan/forecast

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for management staff

  • Assist in the creation of new processes and improvements as required in constantly changing environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we look for:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum 2-3 years of finance or accounting experience in a large multi-national company

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point skills

  • Highly motivated individual, with ability to adapt to changing environment

  • Team player with excellent communication skills

  • Commitment to excellent customer service

  • Self-driven and organized; able to manage and balance short- and long-term deliverables

  • Exhibits professional demeanor and emotional maturity

Preferred

  • SAP and OneStream experience is a plus

This is a hybrid role that will work 3 days per week in the Glendale, WI office.
