Quality Technician

How you'll make an impact

• Create and update routine analysis and quality inspection plans for raw materials and final products.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection reports.
• Inspect goods and products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Guarantee finished products meet required specifications before shipment.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Report quality anomalies to the quality engineer via quality alerts.
• Conduct wiring functional tests of control cabinets.
• Identify areas for improvement in quality control processes and follow applicable policies and procedures.
• Represent the Quality department on the production line to ensure compliance with operating procedures and production flow.

Your background

• Minimum of a 2-year degree in electrical/electronic technology or industrial electrical testing.
• Work authorization to permit employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in a production environment as a Quality Technician, Inspector, or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 concepts and current quality control techniques.
• Experience in control wiring connection and testing is preferred.
• Ability to read 2D drawings and analyze technical information.
• Strong customer service orientation and proactive change agent mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP ERP or equivalent.
