Salesforce is looking for a highly effective Senior Director, Data & Analytics. This is a people leader position, partnering closely with field leadership to deliver critically important business insights and tools that support decision making. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving transformation in the areas of forecasting, data governance and analytics. This position requires a leader with a deep understanding of sales and renewals strategy, market trends, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to align efforts with company objectives. Previous senior director-level management experience is required with strong communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate should have Data & Analytics experience with expert-level knowledge of Sales or Renewals strategy, as well as a strong understanding of Salesforce products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting clear goals and a vision for success.
  • Develop a culture of innovation, transparency, and empowerment within the team.
  • Lead all aspects of the design and delivery of real-time, business-critical analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Lead change management initiatives that transform forecasting and performance reporting across Renewals and Success Plan Sales, in alignment with Account Success & Sales, ensuring performance insights are outstanding and new processes are adopted across field teams.
  • Lead the development of new data models and data pipelines in production.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all datasets and processes.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the business and work closely with sales, operations, engineering, support, professional services, customer success, and account management teams.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop predictive analytics and data-driven insights that inform executive decision-making.
  • Stay current with industry trends and scale standard methodologies globally, ensuring regional teams have the vital tools, frameworks, and automation to drive efficiency and success.
  • Lead the implementation of sophisticated analytics tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years of data engineering and analytics experience across multiple companies
  • Leadership: Validated leadership experience, with the ability to run and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage optimally with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder management: The ability to present insights and influence leadership to all levels, including C-level
