Job Description

Jefferson Consulting Group is seeking aSeniorAcquisition Specialistwho will provide services for our client in the United States Peace Corps. You will provide subject matter expertise and operational support in all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle process to the Office of Acquisitions and Contract Management (ACM).

This role will be 100% Remote.

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$120,000.00. The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Peace Corps Procurement Liaison Services resides in the Office of Chief Financial Office (OCFO) / ACM and will provide a wide range of professional acquisition and contract support, to serve as a liaison between ACM and the requirements offices and shall assist the requirements office in developing and initiating its requirements, creating templates, interacting with procurement professionals in OCFO/ACM, various program office personnel, and ensure effective communication channels across the Peace Corps. Procurement Liaison Support Services are available to support:

  • Assistance with Acquisition Planning
  • Ensuring High Priority actions identified by the requirements office adhere to agreed-to milestone schedules
  • Assistance with documenting technical requirements associated with the requirements office needs.
  • Assistance with preparing contract requirement packages, including:
          • Statements of Work/Specifications/Requirements Documents
  • Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE)

  • Market Research
  • Appropriate Justifications
  • Evaluation Criteria, etc.
  • Recommendations on optimal acquisition strategy
  • Customer focused assistance
  • Participation in multi-functional meetings with the requirements office and contracting staff
  • Some Contract Administration is called for in supporting the ACM staff with the preparation of option exercise and close-out modifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience developing Information technical professional services packages
  • Experience working with federal program offices in preparing acquisition packages
  • Contract administration experience
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, and analytical skills to effectively interact with program and contracting officials
  • Attention to detail, high standards of excellence, and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • US. Citizenship required
