Summary

The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in the Mk21 refurbishment program, serving as the AFS CPE (Arming and Fuzing Subsystem Certified Principal Engineer) responsible for ensuring the successful refurbishment of fuzes. This individual will utilize their technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions. With a focus on refurbishment rather than design, the ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities. As a key contributor to the program, the IC3 Electrical Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of refurbished fuzes.

**Required Skills**

* Active Secret Clearance

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

* Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts

* Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues

* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify root causes of issues

* Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams

**Desired Skills**

* Experience with fuze refurbishment or similar programs

* Familiarity with military standards and regulations

* Knowledge of electrical testing and measurement techniques

* Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with ability to guide and support junior engineers and technicians
