Power & Interface Technical Lead
Location:King of Prussia, PA Job ID: #70696 Pay Range: $05-110 As the Mk21A AFS Power & Interfaces Technical Lead, you will be responsible for technical leadership and execution of a multi-disciplinary team designing, testing and qualifying circuit card assemblies, batteries, and a launch safety device. You will oversee and review the design of these items and provide recommendations/guidance to the team. You will also be required to interface with program management to communicate staffing needs for your team and technical challenges and risks. You will also be responsible for being LM's liaison to an interface working group between government entities and other defense contractors. Required Skills * Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering subdisciplines: power electronics, analog design, mixed signal design * Experience with electrical parts stress analysis (EPSA) and worst case circuit analysis (WCCA) * Printed Wiring Board (PWB) design experience - rigid, rigid-flex, and flex * Strong understanding of SPICE simulations (LTSpice, Pspice or equivalent) * General experience with electrical testing and electrical test equipment * Excellent communication skills * Active Secret Clearance Desired Skills * Experience with analyzing circuits during and after radiation events (SGEMP, single event effects, degradation effects, etc.) * Leadership experience of a multi-disciplinary team * Electrical Interface Requirements development and verification * Experience with Integration Testing, EMI testing, Frequency Response Analyzer Testing (Bode plots), Environmental Testing * Familiarity with qualification to military standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1576, etc) * Experience working with subcontracted design items (specification and statement of work development, following design through qualification) * Experience with root cause analysis and failure analysis * DC-DC converter design experience * Signal integrity and controlled impedance design experience Basic Qualifications * Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering subdisciplines: power electronics, analog design, mixed signal design * Experience with electrical parts stress analysis (EPSA) and worst case circuit analysis (WCCA) * Printed Wiring Board (PWB) design experience - rigid, rigid-flex, and flex * Strong understanding of SPICE simulations (LTSpice, Pspice or equivalent) * General experience with electrical testing and electrical test equipment * Excellent communication skills * Active Secret Clearance Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Benefits provided: 401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
