Job Description

The Company Store Coordinator manages the operation of the company store including but not limited to inventory ordering and receipt, recording of sales, inventory management, maintenance of customer data and providing information and analysis of data to allow decisions for the most effective operation of the store.

This position will work varying day shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 5:00am-4:00pm.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the inventory for sale at the company store, including receipt of inventory, cycle counts, effective display, optimization of available space, and ensuring proper rotation, with the goal of maximizing sales with the resources available. Inventory includes shelf-stable, refrigerated, and frozen foods, pet foods/supplies, and miscellaneous promotional products.
  • Order inventory, taking into account stock levels, delivery quantities, availability of space, sales trends, etc.
  • Handle purchase orders.
  • Serve customers as the cashier/point of sale person.
  • Price all items in the system as well as on the shelf.
  • Maintain the database of eligible customers.
  • Enter sales of items into the system.
  • Maintain the facility according to safety, GMP, and sanitation standards.
  • Prepare company store monthly financial report and period-end close factory reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Safety and Environmental:

  • Follow factory safety and environmental objectives and targets.
  • Follow the plant safety rules; report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
  • Understand the environmental aspects of the position and take action to reduce these environmental impacts by conserving paper, electricity, water etc. Will also recycle all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.)

Quality:

  • Follow factory food safety, quality objectives and targets.
  • Follow Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality issues immediately.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to Nestle Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs.
  • Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated on QMS, OJT's and SOP's that apply.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Related Field preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in a business-related setting.
  • Retail grocery operation experience and working with the public preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to work well with customers and suppliers.
  • Capacity to work independently and prioritize workload.
  • Acts with integrity and demonstrates adaptability to manage a changing work environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc... within a warehousing environment.
