Position Summary The Enterprise Principal Architects are technology leaders among architects. They drive the technical design of scalable systems for MemorialCare. Enterprise Principal Architects connect MemorialCare's long-term vision, the business and the technical strategy to build an industry-leading platform. They use deep understanding of distributed systems, algorithms optimization, and healthcare knowledge to build a new category of products intersecting deep learning and computing with industry-leading technologies. They harness groundbreaking technologies and build impactful products and platforms that amplifies the impact of Medical Doctors and MemorialCare's healthcare systems. Principal Software Architects require an understanding of a broad spectrum of technologies used within MemorialCare. Principal Software Architects must be well-versed with new and emerging technologies available in the marketplace. They should have a strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, generative AI, computer vision, and their implications to the health care IT landscape. They will be responsible for building a framework to gather performance data of all AI applications and calculate KPIs for performance, drift, safety, fairness, adoption, and impact. They must demonstrate extensive leadership and communication skills while working collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring enterprise-class solutions are judiciously designed and properly executed. The position drives best practices and adopts best-in-class architectural standards to be used at MemorialCare. Principal Software Architects involve a high degree of autonomy along with a fundamental ability to infuse project delivery with principles that are agile and lean. *Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
