The Cardinal Health Pharma eCommerce team is looking for an experienced Senior eCommerce Merchandising Specialist who will focus will on driving & executing category- specific experience strategies around product information categorization for our eCommerce ordering platforms. Responsibilities will include but not limited, developing short-term and long-term merchandising strategies, executing merchandising initiatives and enhancements, taxonomy within STEP, and partnering with several cross-functional teams to ensure products online are positioned for optimal conversion. This individual will report to the eCommerce Digital Merchandising Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and implement optimized site merchandising strategies that focus on maximizing customer experience, results, and adapt to change through product taxonomy, navigation, facets, cross categorizing, and product recommendations.
  • Design and execute marketing and special initiatives, create alignment with marketing teams to drive revenue and achieve key business objectives.
  • Manage taxonomy accuracy and product data flow, create weekly audit review processes to maintain category and product accuracy, alert the team and management to any data or image discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Lead meetings with search, product, and marketing teams to understand key merchandising strategies, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Strategize and execute digital enhancements for the customer experience, related and complimentary products initiative process to drive upsell and revenue.
  • Establish exceptional cross-functionally relations that will help drive merchandising capabilities and initiatives
  • Specialize in product knowledge and creative ways to showcase assortments
  • Leverage analytic results and data to optimize recommendations for the strategy based on research, benchmarks, and engagement metrics to drive exposure to meet key deliverables.
  • Provide input on actionable insights stemming from analysis and customer behaviors.
  • Optimize digital experiences in both the desktop and mobile shopping channels as well as overall connected customer initiatives.
  • Test operational functionality within system platforms, QA & UAT merchandising tasks in dev/staging, and coordinating with IT on improvements.
  • Develop efficient workflows, processes, and timelines to increase operational excellence throughout the team.
  • Apply agile working commentary around reviewing and improving current business and identify opportunities that include enhancing merchandising across site experience.
  • Utilize time management skills to enable execution on multiple deliverables within timely manner.
  • Establish strong relationships across cross-functional teams. Influence and leverage other teams within the broader organization to advance the digital experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Marketing, or eCommerce preferred
  • Experience in Adobe Experience Manager, STEP, and content management system a plus
  • Excellent written and graphic communication skills (i.e., grammar, formatting)
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and knowledge of information technology.
  • Experienced in project planning and project management.
  • Ability to learn quickly; excellent time management; attention to detail; creative.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross functionally with a team to execute tasks and projects and achieve desired results.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skill with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals a plus
  • Ability to make in moment decision that impact business needs.

Anticipated salary range:$79,700 - $113,800
