Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications Stellar Solutions is searching for a Director, Commercial Solutions Sector. As a leadership team member in our 30+ year focused space engineering company you advance space system solutions, manage teams, build customer facing relationships and are key in helping the Commercial Sector VP solve the customer's critical needs with commercial solutions. You work on programs with partner companies that include venture capital backed space start-up companies, lead government proposal efforts, and manage teams on active contracts. Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications In this role you will apply your experience in systems engineering, systems integration, program integration and mission delivery. Having a problem-solving mindset is key to working with notional concepts and being a part of architecting solutions that integrate commercial products into the defense industrial base. Experience in government proposals is need to lead generation of management and technical volumes, staffing plans, balanced work break-down structures (WBS), compliance matrix evaluation and basis of estimates. The successful candidate can work collaboratively, and support the VP, Commercial Solutions on business-to-business consulting and government focused research and development bids and programs. Compensation: The typical salary pay range for this position is USD $190,000 - $240,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, and a full benefits package including a significant, company funded profit-sharing retirement savings plan. |
