SALARY:

$21.85 - $25.00+ per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for students, staff & faculty related to the management and administration of the various tracks and electives at RVUCOM-UT.
  • Assist the course directors as needed in the coordination and management of all tracks and electives offered at RVUCOM-UT.
  • Coordinate and manage all track events and collaborate on behalf of the Tracks & Special Programs Department in all campus events which include a segment for tracks and electives each semester, i.e. student orientation, enrollment expos, Track Week, Second Look Day, Return Student Q&A, or other such events.
  • Assist the Department Chair of Tracks and Special Programs in all department administration and activities on the UT campus.
  • Regularly interface with RVUCOM-UT.
  • students enrolled in tracks or electives and provide information and relevant guidance.
  • Maintain the schedule, room reservations and coordination of speakers/presenters as directed by the track and electives directors each semester at RVUCOM-UT.
  • Work collectively with the Colorado Tracks and Special Programs Coordinator on the development of a TSP Operations Manual for consistency and efficiency of administrative practices across all areas of the department.
  • Work collaboratively with Colorado Tracks and Special Programs Coordinator with form development and processes as defined by the Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate all processes and procedures for the management of Global Medical Outreach trips and travel in tandem with the Colorado Tracks and Special Programs Coordinator.
  • Create and maintain accurate department advertising as necessary in coordination with the Colorado Tracks and Special Programs Coordinator.
  • Answer emails, phones, route calls and schedule appointments as necessary.
  • Assist in arranging travel and lodging logistics.
  • Communicate with community and national resources on behalf of the RVUCOM-UT Tracks and Electives to create relationships which will enhance the learning experiences of the students in these courses.
  • Create and maintain the semester course schedule/calendars for all the tracks and electives at RVUCOM-UT.
  • Create and maintain rosters for each track and elective course at RVUCOM-UT.
  • Order all supplies for the department and the individual tracks and electives as needed.
  • Provide cross-coverage for the Colorado Tracks and Special Programs Coordinator as needed.
  • Assist Track and Elective Directors with posting course content as needed.
  • Work cooperatively with other RVUCOM departments.
  • Schedule, attend, and take minutes for assigned meetings.
  • Assist in the training of any future Coordinators or Administrative Assistant Staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chair of Tracks and Special Programs.


Qualifications

  • Assist administration, faculty, and staff in special projects as needed and as time permits.
