Description

Medica's Clinical Liaison (CL) serves as the primary point of contact for Medica Care Coordinators, providing expert guidance on Medica/CMS and DHS contractual requirements related to Care Coordination. The CL is responsible for fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and prompt resolution of questions and issues. The CL must possess a deep understanding of the resources available to Care Coordinators and be able to communicate this knowledge professionally.

*Must reside the MN service area*

Qualifications:



  • RN Diploma or Degree in Nursing (Associates or Bachelors) + a minimum of 2 years' experience in community-based services
  • 7+ years clinical experience
  • 1-2+ years supervisory experience of professional staff, including employees who are home office or located remotely; informal leadership that has included coaching and mentorship will also be considered


Required Certifications/Licensure:



  • Active, unrestricted RN License in the state of MN Required
  • MnCHOICES Certified Assessor Training (MNCAT) preferred or ability to obtain within 21 days of employment
  • Public Health Certification preferred, however not required


Skills and Abilities:



  • Excellent customer service skills and proven team building skills
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to leverage technology to lead remote teams
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work independently, and within a group
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work effectively, including the flexibility to accommodate frequent changes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Consultant skills to articulate business needs and translate to quality programs that result in targeted staff competencies
  • Strong leadership skills


This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the Minnetonka office for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $87,100 - $149,300. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
