Description
The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Specialist, Research & Technical Services for our Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote). Starting base salary = $52,000- $65,000- $78,000 (commensurate with related experience). A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. https://www.aha.org/data-insights/resource-center The Specialist, Research Technical Services is responsible for providing technical, system and basic research support to the AHA Resource Center (RC) team, AHA staff, members and customers, ensuring them access to timely, high quality health services information quickly and easily. Provide basic reference and research services; support the RC request tracking system, online catalog, document delivery platform and other databases; and create/update content on RC Portal and RC aha.org site. Work as part of team to provide the services, resources, and systems needed to support the development and ongoing operation of RC service lines and products. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Research support: Fulfill basic reference/research requests, including custom data requests, document delivery and Interlibrary Loan (IL) for RC staff and customers. Masters of LIBRARY SCIENCES (required)
Experience
3 years: *Experience library research/technical support
