Genesis10 is seeking a IT - Back End Developer for a contract with our client in Richfield, MN. Client Industry: Retail Duration: 1 year Job Description: We are looking for highly skilled backend engineers to help us build out our applications on the Marketplace Platform team. These engineers will extend and support running applications & assist in the design and development of new applications. They will be expected to evaluate and refactor in a rapid manner for every part of our infrastructure. Overall knowledge of designing an application to run on a scalable platform is expected. They will be working in an agile environment which values test-driven development and pair programming in a pragmatic way. This role is on the Marketplace Platform team. The team's primary goal is to build integrations with third parties sellers allowing them to sell products within client's e-commerce. Project Description: In this role, the engineer will be working on projects and programs spanning multiple applications and integrations. Candidates would be responsible for feature design and development across multiple applications, as well as defect resolution, performance testing and analysis, etc. Candidates may also be asked to take on a technical leadership role in programs which primarily touch on new integrations for external marketplaces, whether these consist of adding new partners or expanding existing integrations to offer new modes of fulfillment.
