Job Summary The Cycle Counter Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring operational efficiency. This position involves tracking lumber inventory, meticulously verifying the accuracy of inbound and outbound loads, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and precisely recording counts in the system. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Monitor and track physical inventory with precision. Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory counts, including their frequency. Communicate variances and discrepancies in inventory promptly to management. Accurately log inventory data into the accounting system. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, documenting any corrections made. Ensure data accuracy within the system while adhering to internal controls and compliance standards. Prepare various reports and correspondence as needed. Take on additional duties to support the team and operations as required. Qualifications High school diploma Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures Must be at least 18 years of age The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
