Overview

As someone enthusiastic about securing a wide variety of applications, you are looking for an opportunity to continue learning about security and contribute in an innovative and technology-oriented environment. As a Platform Security Engineer at Esri, you will work with our team to secure Esri's intellectual property, networks, and sensitive data against a variety of complex threats, with support from all levels of leadership. Work with our experienced enterprise security team and collaborate closely with our platform support teams to continually improve the security of our enterprise Software as a service (SaaS) platforms.

Responsibilities



  • Identify and protect Data in Esri platforms(Microsoft Purview)
  • Work with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team to establish compliance and risk requirements for data in platforms
  • Work with platform engineers and Identity and Access Management to establish correct access and roles in platforms based on data and platform security models
  • Work with platform engineers to identify, analyze, and remediate misconfigurations and vulnerabilities in platforms (Obsidian)
  • Work with Security Operations to establish monitoring and review of activities within platforms


Requirements



  • 1+ years of hands-on experience managing one or more SaaS platforms (Microsoft O365, Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce, SAP, Service Now, or other large-scale platforms with similar data structures and characteristics)
  • Basic understanding of high-level security concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to independently learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's in computer science or related field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Hands-on experience managing access, permissions, and roles
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across multiple internal teams
  • Experience using APIs for automation, integration, or data analysis

$68,640 $97,240 USD
