CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Engineer to join our Infrastructure - Aviation Team at any of the following office locations: Providence, RI; Albany, NY; Boston, MA; Burlington, MA; Syracuse, NY; Hartford, CT; Rochester, NY; or Keene, NH. YOUR IMPACT Every airport, regardless of its size, depends on a unique set of facilities and infrastructure to meet the specific needs of their community, stakeholders and partners. The CHA team excels in delivering specialized airside, landside, and facility-related planning and design. We bring a wealth of experience to our aviation clients so they can continue to be viable assets to the communities they serve. The Construction Engineer is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of various structures and facilities such as airports. This individual may also be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of Inspectors and Subconsultants on large or complex projects and should be well versed in all areas of construction inspection. At CHA, our Construction Engineer works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements. The Construction Engineer observes and monitors construction for conformance with contract documents and approved shop drawings/material submittals, coordinates construction activities such as inspections, and prepares and maintains project records in accordance with client, company, and government standards. The professional in this role mentors and teaches entry level Construction Engineers and Inspectors and determines acceptability of construction work performed. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required
SALARY RANGE: $74,000 - $97,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
