Overview

Brothers Standard Striping LLC (a.k.a. Standard Paving & Concrete) has two positions available for a full time CDL Driver. Salary to be determined based on experience.



Responsibilities

    Hold a VALID COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE.
  • Experience & Driving Skills: Possess experience driving heavy trucks or tractor-trailers. Demonstrate proficiency in driving large vehicles, including backing up, maneuvering, and navigating various road conditions.
  • Knowledge: Understand traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices for operating heavy trucks with our without trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Route Planning: Plan and follow routes to ensure timely and efficient arrival to asphalt plants and job sites.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured for transport.
  • Log Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of working hours and mileage, complying with state and federal regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate with foremen and team members effectively to coordinate pick ups and deliveries, and address any issues. Must be reliable, work as a team, and follow instructions of foremen.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform inspections, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel. Complete pre and post trip safety and operations checklists and documentation.
  • Safety: Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Organization: Be organized and able to manage time effectively.
  • Travel & Flexibility: Be available to travel to multiple construction sites within the geographic region and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
