Job Purpose:

A Director of Product Management & Solutions Architecture is a senior level role responsible for overseeing the design, integration and lifecycle management of hardware systems that align with our customers and organization's strategic objectives. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, leading projects and leadership influencing skills to guide teams in developing innovative hardware solutions focused on solving customer's complex workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement hardware architecture strategies that support the organization's business goals and technological advancements in line with market direction and industry standards

* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitivedynamics to establish product strategy and product positioning

* Influence and drive product direction to ensure customer goals are met; fostering a collaborative environment with engineering, sales, marketing and supply chain to drive innovation and excellence.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and executive leadership, to ensure cohesive integration of hardware solutions.

* Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to inform hardware design decisions and maintain competitive advantage.

* Collaborate with the hardware development team to manage the lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to testing and deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including product requirements, white papers, use cases and technical specifications

* Provide training and support to sales and technical teams ensuring teams are equipped for success

* Engage with customer to deep dive in to requirements and addressing their technical challenges

* Establish and enforce standards and best practices for hardware design and implementation to ensure high-quality deliverables.

* Identify potential risks in hardware projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

* In-depth knowledge of hardware systems, including processors, memory, storage, and peripheral interfaces

*Familiarity with software integration and hardware architecture tradeoffs

* Strong analytical skills to assess challenges and devise effective hardware solutions.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

* 10+ years experience in hardware architecture and design, with a proven track record in a high level role overseeing complex hardware projects.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

* Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and adhering to budgets.

Salary Range (annual): $155,000 - $205,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
