The overall research focus is to understand the mechanisms behind obesity and type 2 diabetes. Our work focuses on elucidating the functions of the brain neuronal circuits in adaptive regulation of food intake, energy expenditure, glucose and lipid metabolism in response to physiological and environmental changes. The candidate is expected to present at seminars, journal clubs and other scientific meetings. Required Qualifications:
