This role involves selecting appropriate radiation exposure factors, performing imaging procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation. The student technologist will learn to operate imaging equipment, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and utilize hospital systems such as EPIC and PACS. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to radiation safety protocols (ALARA) are essential. Must have completed student competencies under the approved program. Must be within 5 months of graduation from approved program.Basic Life Support required.Student candidates must obtain the RT (ARRT) certification within 6 months of their hire date.Must have temporary Radiologic Technologist OBMI license.No previous experience required.Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
