Job Summary
B&A is looking for a
Training Specialist to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a
Training Specialist to develop, implement, and deliver software application training programs for domestic and international CODIS partners. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in instructional design, excellent
communication and writing skills, and the ability to tailor training for learners with varying levels of experience. This role requires experience in
developing training materials, instructional delivery, and adapting to evolving learning trends.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design training materials for CODIS software applications, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned with best instructional design practices.
- Plan, develop, and implement training programs for both domestic and international CODIS partners.
- Deliver training sessions in English to audiences with varying levels of familiarity with CODIS software, ensuring comprehension and engagement.
- Adapt training materials and delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and knowledge levels.
- Stay current with learning and instructional design trends to enhance training effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure training materials align with software updates and organizational objectives.
- Provide instruction in person and virtually, adjusting methodologies to suit different audiences and learning environments.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5 years of experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of (3) years as a training developer for software application(s)-type training materials.
- Background in learning/instructional design and trends.
- Communication and Writing skills in fluent English.
- Ability to plan, develop, and implement training for domestic and international CODIS partners.
- Ability to provide instruction to domestic and international CODIS partners with varying levels of knowledge and experience with the CODIS software; instruction will be given in English.
- Preferred experience in teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment.
Desired Skills
- Strong ability to adapt training techniques for different cultural and educational backgrounds.
- Familiarity with instructional technologies and e-learning platforms.
- Experience developing interactive learning modules, including video tutorials, simulations, and self-paced e-learning courses.
- Ability to assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure knowledge retention.
