What the day will look like.

Participate as a member of a distributed team across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA

Partner with the product owners, development teams, and others, for the successful build and deployment of the platform.

Delivering and supporting the DevOps and Automation Tool Set

Support DevOps Engineers in Day-to-Day Activities

  • Support day to day build, package, and deployment automation
  • Configuration updates based on incoming features.
  • Re-deployments based on incoming features.
  • Monitoring automation pipeline for failed builds/scripts/deployments
  • Support Production Release efforts
  • Event logs/Configuration retrieval from servers in lower lifecycles

Work with technology engineers and developers to drive standards. Orchestration and continuously uplifting capability and efficiencies

DevSecOps - SAST, Code-quality scans, DAST, Infrastructure-as-code

Serve as first escalation point for DevOps.

Working with developers and broader product teams to set DevOps pipelines and solid practices.

Draft documents for technical and non-technical audience.

Align with the Aon standard processes and security standards as directed by team management. Work with GSS on any security best practices

Work with support teams to build their skills and provide appropriate tools.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • 6+ years demonstrated IT hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Azure Pipeline and CI/CD
  • Database DevOps
  • Experience delivering workloads within a cloud environment
  • Microsoft Azure PaaS services, preferably in either of the following architecture stacks -
  • Event-driven
  • Micro-services
  • Microsoft Azure technologies (hands on experience with any two or more): Azure App Services, APIM, Azure Container Apps/AKS, Azure App Gateway, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Redis Cache, Azure Service Bus/Event Grid, Azure SQL
  • Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with Terraform
  • Scripting - PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.
Desirable
  • Prior experience working in large enterprise teams & agile scrum sprints.
  • Prior experience in setting up logging/observability through Datadog, Splunk, New Relic or Azure Monitor/Analytics.
  • Prior experience as a developer
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure is a plus
  • Evidence of being a successful influencer across different teams,

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
