Overview:

VersAbility Resources is looking for a driven Workforce Development Intern to become part of our dynamic team. This internship provides valuable, hands-on experience across a range of tasks, including research, creating training materials, drafting blog and communication content, and data entry. The intern will also assist in tracking data related to program participation and outcomes, helping to ensure the efficient coordination of training programs and vocational assessments.

We are seeking candidates who reside in Virginia and can work onsite at our corporate location in Hampton, Virginia

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development of training materials and resources.
  • Track participant progress and assist with execution of workshops and collaborate with the team to refine program strategies.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis using CRM.
  • Creation of reports related to business readiness and talent retention.
  • Assist with Vocational Assessments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently a Junior or Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design or Business Administration requiring a GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Strong research and organizational skills.
  • Experience with data collection.
  • Ability to work independently, in fast paced environments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft/ Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating materials, reports, and correspondence.
  • A keen interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly as it relates to people with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with vocational training or workforce development programs is a plus but not a requirement.
