Quality Control Technician

• Will take responsibility and authority for ensuring Quality Control compliance throughout affected areas.
• Inspect product/materials for proper specifications, quality, labeling, and packaging.
• Provide support for Medical Device Operations and other internal departments as necessary.
• Print the in house finished medical device labeling and peer review for accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices, including the use of ANZI sampling AQL plans.
• Understand the flow of processes and procedures to be observant with an ability to identify deviations.
• Monitor material in quarantine to ensure they are appropriately identified, and dispositions are completed in a timely fashion.
• Provide input to Management for cause-identification for various types of quality or production investigations.
• Interface with other department personnel to clarify and/or correct the information provided, and to solicit required information.
• Must be alert to interact with technicians and management in a tactful but expeditious manner in order to correct problems concurrent with the operation.
• Effectively complete "other'' functions that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in the Life Sciences or other scientific field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Quality
• Previous experience is a regulated industry is preferred.
