Material Handler: Material Handlers transport all materials and equipment via forklift (sit-down/stand-up) or tugger to each cell operation allowing continuous/expeditious production. This position is fast paced and challenging - applicants should be able to comfortably multitask in a demanding environment. Team members in material handling roles are often required to service multiple departments/areas in order to prevent machine downtime. This position may work up to 7 days a week, 12 hours a day including weekends and holidays depending on customer demand. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The team member is regularly required to stand for 8-12 hours during a normal shift. The team member frequently is required to walk 10-15 feet, multiple times per normal shift. The team member must frequently lift, rotate, clamp and/or move up to 50 pounds multiple times per day within the normal shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color-coding distinction, close vision, distance vision and depth perception. WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or air borne particles and operates in extreme heat or cool climate conditions. The team members are occasionally exposed to vibration. Team members are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment to assist in promoting a safe work environment. Team members perform reactive maintenance to facility property and equipment and preventive maintenance as availability permits. Team members will also perform other essential duties as assigned.
