Summary:
|
Support related functions from internal customers, retail stores and outside vendors. Proficiency in communication, both orally and verbally is essential. Will also perform various receiving, shipping, and inventory functions. Must be able to perform duties via manual documents or computerized devices in accordance with established operational and inventory control procedures. All associates will receive training to ensure mastery of specific skill sets with an emphasis on Safety, Accuracy, and Productivity.

Pay Class and Pay

Pay Class: Full Time Pay: $18.10 - $19.16 per hour

Essential Responsibilities:
|
Efficient and accurate accounting and auditing of merchandise receipts from external sources. Strict adherence to operational procedures, best practices and inventory control procedures to prevent inventory shrinkage. Exceed customer's expectations through proper use of internal reports, procedures and systems. Support management team by scheduling tasks as assigned, reports, and achieve assigned deadlines. Ability to proficiently navigate within Island Pacific Merchandising and Warehouse System Software. Properly package all outbound shipments to Vendor and/or Customers. Comprehensive understanding of required hardware and software necessary to complete responsibilities. Ability to meet or exceed established production goals. Assist with training new hires and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility. Adherence to established safety rules and company policies. Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment..

Education:
|
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
|
Experience & Background:
|
One (1) to three (3) years of related distribution experience
|
Experience and sound proficiency with Island Pacific Merchandising and Warehousing System. Mastery and proficiency in use of personal computer and calculator. Mastery and proficiency in use of computerized scanning and printing devices. Working knowledge of basic warehousing duties and inventory control procedures. Strong knowledge and comprehension of established best practices. Excellent working knowledge of individual productivity measurement processes.

Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
