*Description*
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician in Roanoke, VA. This individual will serve as an escalation point for Level 1 and 2 support via both telephone and email. The role involves monitoring the ServiceNow ticketing system and handling tickets appropriately to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. *Responsibilities:* * Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues from Level 1 and 2 support teams. * Monitor and manage ServiceNow ticketing system to ensure tickets are handled efficiently. * Provide guidance and leadership to team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving abilities. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Apple/Mac OS, Windows OS, LAN & WAN, Active Directory, and Office 365. * Prioritize tasks effectively, work under pressure, and maintain high attention to detail. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless support and resolution of technical issues. * Document and update technical procedures and solutions in the knowledge base. *Top Skills:* * Prior experience leading and guiding team members. * Proficient with technologies such as Apple/Mac OS, Windows OS, LAN & WAN troubleshooting, Active Directory, and ServiceNow ticketing system. * Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and maintain high attention to detail. *Required Skills:* * Windows 10 and 11 * Technical support * Hardware troubleshooting * Customer service * Desktop support * Active Directory * Office 365 * MacOS * ServiceNow *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or a related role. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
