The Global Broadband Operations team's mission is to provide reliable internet service to our customers around the globe. We are connecting the unconnected in many parts of the world which are gaining access to the internet for the first time. We are also helping people stay connected while they work or do remote learning from home, or while they fly for business or leisure on major airlines such as Delta and JetBlue.

We work with engineering teams across the company to improve on the reliability, resiliency, scalability, and performance of our production services. Being a Production Engineering team requires a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end system, a relentless drive towards improving customer experience, and a collaborative approach to solving difficult problems.

• Integrating cutting-edge software & system features
• Automating interactions with modem software to support continuous deployment to production users

Viasat embraces a flexible work environment and onsite/hybrid work is determined by individual roles and teams. Relocation assistance is available pending eligibility.

• Experience with Python
• Courses with practical software design usage
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals
• Desire to work on network-based products
