Job Responsibilities
The Global Channel Account Executive will play a key role in expanding Hexagon Connected Worker's market reach by identifying, onboarding, and managing new channel partners. This position is responsible for developing a channel strategy, ensuring partners successfully resell NCW software solutions and services. The role requires strong sales acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a global channel strategy to grow Hexagon Connected Worker's reseller network.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners who align with our business objectives.
- Manage relationships with existing partners, ensuring they have the necessary training, support, and resources to drive sales.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to align channel strategies with overall business goals.
- Drive sales enablement initiatives, including product training and marketing support for partners.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with channel partners to ensure profitable relationships.
- Monitor sales performance and KPIs for channel partners, identifying areas for improvement.
- Travel 40-60% of the time to meet with partners, attend industry events, and support business development efforts.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in channel sales development with a track record of success.
- Proven ability to build and scale a sales channel to meet or exceed quota.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to business development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and translating complex solutions into business value.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial software sales.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Previous experience managing global accounts.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field).
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Work Setting: Hybrid, with in-office days at the Alpharetta location and remote work on non-office days when not traveling.
