General Summary: The Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for understanding HAP's business environment and performance needs, then converting these into effective learning solutions. This individual designs the courseware, writes the objectives, determines the scope and sequence, and creates the cases and scenarios, along with their corresponding challenge assessments. The ID will also lead the content development and production of the courseware. The ID will design and develop learning solutions including but not limited to web-based learning, instructor-led, blended instruction and virtual sessions. The ID works with the HAP's subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain the information and organize it into logical, instructional patterns that are appropriate for the culture and level of expertise of the end users. This individual demonstrates the application of adult learning instructional design. Personal organization and leadership skills are essential to delivering top quality training deliverables on time and on budget. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
