Fincantieri ACE Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group company, currently has an opportunity for a Warehouse Lead at the Green Bay, Wisconsin location.

Fincantieri ACE Marine is a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled aluminum construction facility. Purposely designed for assembly-line manufacturing of aluminum vessels, the facility uses innovative modular construction techniques and component manufacturing. Efficiencies in production are achieved by allowing modules to be pre-outfitted to a very high degree while internal compartments are still very accessible.

POSITION SUMMARY

Leads and controls activities of company warehouse personnel. Take part in organizing various facilities support projects. Interact with both internal and external customers in a professional manner. Ensures shipping, receiving, storage and distribution are performed in an efficient manner. Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss. Retains and reviews warehouse documents and reports. The Warehouse Lead shall maintain the warehouse office supplies and update and write procedures for the warehouse department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform inventory transactions to maintain inventory.
• Assign work load and training to new personnel.
• Locate material through our receiving procedure.
• Update spreadsheets in Excel that deal with inventory problems.
• Track, control and file all shipping documents.
• Order office supplies.
• Write and update BAAN procedures.
• Supervise processing of all receiving reports on all shipments received through the warehouse.
• Responsible for delivery of all items received at the warehouse to the proper workstation on a daily basis.
• Maintain records of supplies and materials entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Develop, supervise, and maintain a safety program for all workers assigned to the warehouse.
• Supervise the cleaning of the warehouse including waste disposal of packaging materials. Develop a cleaning schedule.
• Evaluate complaints received on equipment and supplies and take appropriate action,
• Supervise employees assigned to the warehouse and do personnel evaluations.
• Evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide training experience as needed.

• Assist/organize snow removal and salting of sidewalks and exterior walkways prior to start of shift
• Assist/organize facility cleanup as directed by facility supervisor
• Track information as needed for annual reporting
• Work with sister yards to arrange shipping and receiving of manufacturing materials and shipments of end product

QUALIFICATIONS

Position requires a high school diploma or GED plus three years warehouse supervisory or shipbuilding experience

• Experience with "cycle counting" and control of warehouse material preferred.
• Background in warehousing and issuing of supplies and materials preferred.
• Background in material handling, purchasing and stock control preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
