This position is responsible for completing a training course provided by the company to be able to drive a diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. A valid CDL permit with general knowledge, combination and air brakes.
  3. Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.


DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Operates Commercial Vehicle in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and company safety policies.
  2. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
  3. Loads truck and delivers product to assigned destination.
  4. Assists workers in loading and unloading truck.
  5. Maintains driver log according to regulations.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.
