We are searching for a talented LPN Lead - Urgent Care *$5,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. **Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours. Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities Under general supervision of Urgent Care Provider, perform direct patient care including, phlebotomy, EKG, IV access, IV fluid and medication administration in accordance with physicians' orders. Work to full scope of practice as determined by the MA public health department and Southcoast Health policies. Conduct patient clinical intake and provide clerical support including but not limited to patient quick registration, data/order entry, minor transcription of orders, coordination of medical records, transport and other clerical duties as assigned. Performs point of care lab testing in accordance with CLIA certificate. Rotate work shifts between assigned sites bi-weekly. Work collaboratively with department leadership to assure adequate staffing at each attached site. Provide staff education and training for medical assistants and other LPNs during their onboarding and annual department competency events. Participate in weekly operations leadership meetings and collaborate with practice managers on day-to-day operational issues. Monitor and ensure site medical supply and medication inventories are adequately maintained. Qualifications
