Position Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Continuous Improvement Process Leader to lead business process optimization and cross-functional project management initiatives. This role plays a key role in modernizing workflows, streamlining operations, and leveraging automation to enhance efficiency, productivity, and capacity.

As a change agent, you will take full ownership of projects-developing strategies, executing detailed plans, and working hands-on with teams to drive measurable improvements. Depending on your expertise and business needs, your focus may range from process optimization to broader cross-functional project management or both.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives: Develop and execute CI programs and projects across business units, supporting site leadership, CI managers, and local teams.


  • Process Optimization & Efficiency Gains: Identify and implement automation, digital transformation, and waste reduction strategies to enhance business and manufacturing workflows.


  • Strategic Project Execution: Manage projects from idea generation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely and measurable outcomes.


  • Lean & Agile Methodologies: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and structured problem-solving techniques (PDCA, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping) to optimize performance.


  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, MES, ERP systems like SAP) to track key performance metrics, identify trends, and drive informed decisions.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and other departments to implement scalable process enhancements.


  • Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead cultural and operational transformation by training, mentoring, and coaching teams on continuous improvement methodologies.


  • Performance Tracking & KPI Management: Identify, define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports to leadership and adjusting strategies for sustained success.


  • Workshop Facilitation & Training: Organize and lead Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops, and process standardization initiatives to drive quality improvements across operations.

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 7+ years experience



Experience, skills and knowledge




  • 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or business process optimization, preferably in supply chain, procurement, or sales within the chemical industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies (certifications in Green/Black Belt, Agile, or PMP are a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with process mapping, workflow automation, and data analysis tools (Power BI, Excel, Minitab, MES, ERP systems like SAP).
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple sites to execute CI initiatives.
  • Site-based role with the ability to support multiple locations.

  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Agile, or PMP.
  • Experience in digital transformation and automation implementation.
  • Background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ERP platforms (SAP, etc.).
